  • I much prefer maximize, otherwise all the races end up wanting pretty much the same equipment. Elf is no longer a challenge race; dunadan & high elf just reach the end of stat gain earlier than everybody else.
  • Also need to make the default options sane. (view-torch-lit =yes, ignore-doors/stairs = no)
  • flow-by-smell and flow-by-sound should always be enabled, and the options removed.
    • (Smart monsters with self-heal are too smart for infinite mana. Leave it as an optional challenge game.)

[48]+[49] do the bulk of the work here. Still to do before this can be closed:

  • fix autoroll menu
  • clean out debug code in load.c
